Canadian Dental Care Plan
the
At Papefinch Dental, we believe that maintaining oral health is a vital component of overall well-being. Regular dental visits play a crucial role in this, and we recognize that financial barriers shouldn’t prevent anyone from accessing essential dental care.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), a new initiative by the federal government, aims to make dental care more affordable for many Canadians, and we are proud to support this program by accepting CDCP for senior dental care.
For any inquiries about the CDCP, please contact us at 1-833-537-4342.
UNDERSTANDING THE CDCP
Despite the importance of dental health, many Canadians face financial challenges that prevent them from affording necessary dental treatments. While some have the advantage of private dental insurance through employment or personal policies, others must bear the full costs, making dental services inaccessible for many.

THE CDCP INITIATIVE
The CDCP is designed to alleviate the financial burden of dental care for eligible Canadians. It covers a comprehensive range of dental services, including:
-
Preventive services such as cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
-
Diagnostic services like X-rays.
-
Restorative procedures including fillings and root canals.
-
Complete and partial removable dentures.
-
Oral surgery services, including extractions.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO CDCP?
To qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), individuals must meet the following criteria:
-
Lack of other dental insurance coverage.
-
A family net income of less than $90,000, as adjusted for tax purposes.
-
Canadian residency.
-
A tax return filed for the previous year.
Coverage under the CDCP is scaled based on income, with full (100%) coverage available for families earning less than $70,000 annually. Eligible groups include seniors aged 65 and over, children under 18, and adults possessing a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate.

Seniors (65+), Children under 18, and Adults with a Valid Disability Tax Credit Certificate can apply:
